>>103157587That's inconclusive. They don't know for sure until they find more skin impressions and specimens. Also whether it had stages that molted or there was variety. But it's difficult to know anything for sure from that era because there are only tiny fragments of evidence left.
Honestly I bring up the feathered dinosaur thing to troll, and because since some dinos did have feathers, seeing a more serious go at those designs would look cool. I'm always surprised when people get seriously pissed about it.
It seems to be based on the idea they'd look silly, but most hawks and eagles don't look silly. Also while the cassowary does look kind of silly it is fucking terrifying, one of the scariest animals I think because it can be relentless. And that's not even gigantic with tons of sharp teeth.
