Not arguing that Ye Olde Classics are devalued, just pointing out that the CURRENT stuff 60 years later is lame, as the writer's cannot deviate from the Established Status Quo to any real degree, thus relegating the stories to wedding fake-outs and an endless procession of sidekicks/legacies and "Alt-Dimension Me" stories that aren't worth shit.
