An invisible wheelchair bound teen aged girl,
And the wandering spirit of a dead teen aged boy,
combine their powers, and their bodies, to become the (at times literal) 2-Dimensional Heroine Caricature.
Origin:
Teenage boy: Grew up with the power to make 2D drawings animate. A simple fun power he keeps to himself. After an accident he dies and the same power brings him back to life, but only as a 2-Dimensional shadow. He's left wandering the Earth hiding in plain sight seeking a way to end his misery.
For the teenaged girl; a prissy jealous girl who discovers she has the power to remove her shadow and become invisible. She hides her shadow away in her bedroom and ventures out to cause mischief, eavesdrop on gossip, and generally puts this power to bad use. After months of doing this however she returns to her room to find her shadow has gone, and she can't find it, trapping her in invisibility. She 'goes missing' to everyone except her family, who she comes clean to about her power, now curse. To make matters worse she has an accident which leaves her wheelchair bound, which is hell for someone invisible requiring help from her family.
The boy's shadow-spirit (through reasons) finds and offers to become the girl's shadow. When they join she gains her visibility back, but, they find, they can take it one step further and become a super-powered hero, who is called Caricature, who looks like a cartoon (think Jessica Rabbit in spandex) come to life.
