I stopped reading Penny Arcade a couple months ago. I got tired of the "first sentence is the topic of the comic" style of writing they've been using the last year or two. They used to make fun of other comics for "I am playing this game let's talk about it" openers and now it's all they do.
I miss how they used to start and stop comics mid conversation. For a decade people complained you had to go read the news post to figure out what they were talking about in the comic and I loved that. I can't remember the last time I laughed at one of their comics
