OP, have you any idea the logistics it took to make the crossovers in Roger Rabbit happen? Even after they negotiated the terms for the cameos (which itself was a monumental undertaking and basically only happened because Steven fucking Spielberg was involved with the project) hey had to ensure every stipulation was followed to the letter (most notably with Disney and Warner Bros.; they both stated that neither company's IP could be given more screentime than the other, down to the goddamn seconds). And that was for a 2 hour blockbuster movie with production values in the millions, being displayed on the (relatively) neutral ground of the silver screen. Do you honestly think Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network would go through all that work for something that wouldn't net them a fourth of the money they invested?
Also, did you know that Bill Murray was considered for the role of Eddie Valient (but failed to get it because of the weird way he takes roles), and that Tim Curry was turned down for the role of Judge Doom because his audition was way too fucking scary?
