The ADD writing never bothered me as a kid but as a result I never noticed that it made me bored of shows with more episodic nature. Same with X-men, I loved ridiculous 4-5 Parters like Phoenix Saga adaptation, Beyond Good and Evil, and Spider-man cranked that bitch up to fucking eleven where entire seasons had a prefix underlying their thematic connections. I started to get bored of shows unless they are so packed with story just writing an episode's synopsis is harder than Monday's homework.
But I settled down over time of course.
In the end, it was hard for me to admit, but I think objectively speaking Spectacular Spider-man is a superior show, 90's Spider-man will always hold a special place in my heart.
