I was laughing my fucking ass off at some of the early episodes, the shit with the sex-worker family had me in tears. I legit was happy for Mr Peantbutter finding a nice girlfriend, Dianne's trip to Vietnam was nice (and damn her new haircut is great), I find Princess' Caroline's life more engaging than I thought I would, the entire funeral episode was fucking great.
Reminds me of Season 3. No strong direction, no gut punch sads, but the moment to moment comedy was actually great. Which is weird because, it's not really what you watch the show for. And the funny definitely tappered off in the later episodes, so I don't even know. It felt really anti-climatic, like the show just ended.
That said for all the bitching about SJWs and feminism here, this was actually the most honest and blunt portrayal of feminism/liberalism in hollywood I've seen. In any media, fictional or not. This is the ONLY place, in season 5 of Bojack Horseman, where
>a deeply cynical man cashes in Hollywood feminism>most of the exploited women in Hollywood don't really mind or care because they just want jobs>the victims are often complicit by staying silent for the sake of their careersNO ONE EVER TALKS ABOUT THIS SHIT, at least, liberals never do.
>>102957929 is right, this show bashes Hollywood liberalism right over the head.
