All of it wouldnt essentially matter since everything would just be forgotten and never brought back up or returned to normal.

In the end a shit ton of viewers just had enough and dropped the show right then and there. Fans felt betrayed, and became generally bored with the series. The only people that stuck with it until the end were dedicated autists and tumblr roasties that only wanted to see Marcy and PB fuck.
