I posted about this in response to a thread that was deleted, but I still kinda wanna talk about it.

Remember when Marceline was introduced? I do.

I remember that she was like that cool older girl, who's sort of bad for you, but you hang out with anyway because she's cool, even though she's got personal issues and can be a jerk sometimes.

That was a nice dynamic. I liked that. When did that die?

I don't even care about romance, and I didn't think that Finn and Marceline should be a couple, but I hate that that chemistry seems to have been flushed down the toilet in favor of a relationship that I never cared about.
