So this girl dresses in a boy's uniform and boy's clothes (for no known reason) and attends some prestigious, expensive school on a scholarship. Everyone thinks she is a boy, even the staff... somehow, it is not brought up. She is the sole caretaker of her little brother (who is, of course, learned well beyond his years and quotes the Bard) as their parents are not in the story in any meaningful way. She works a part-time job to makes ends meet for the both of them while studying in her (very regimented) non-school hours.
Now, this girl, who can keep a house, keep decent grades, raise a brother, keep a part-time job, has excellent acting skills, etc., this clumsy (of course) girl is just utterly incapable of having any friends. Now, this isn't HER fault as nearly EVERY bit character varies between the character label of cunt or bully. Seriously. There are two older adults who have sympathy for her, one post-college guy who (maybe?) fancies her (as him), and one uni guy that is unexplainedly weird. Every other student and faculty member dislike her, while most other characters give her complete disregard at best.
The antagonist character is amusingly unaware of the things that come out of his mouth; though he is just the self-absorbed snob archetype with the 'self-absorbed' turned to eleven and the 'snob' turned down to 6.
