He doesn't look the part and the cape is... bizarre. Reminds me of the cape fiasco they went thru on Lois and Clark. 8 different capes in the first season before they got it right. Ass jokes aside, he was a really good Superman and Clark. He was very very genuine in both roles. I'm glad that we get three nights of him.

Casting has been the only string suit any of the CW shows have ever had. They're always the first to acknowledge when an actor doesn't work and shuffle them off their shows. Huntress? Who's that? Vandal Who? Hawk people? Never heard of them. Here's Mick Rory and Constantine. Look at them.

Supergirl has been that one DC show that just can't get casting right. Maybe that was because of CBS, but almost no one is cast well. Superman actually worked.

The show is still the worst of the lot by a large margin. I'd love to see a decent show runner take on a Superman show for them since the movies are a Charlie Foxtrot.

Honestly I am upset we haven't had an actual Superman show since Lois and Clark. Smallville was a Clark Kent teen drama for the majority of its run.

Supergirl has decent effects and fights, but the girl power drama and side stories suck. Superman being just an awesome guy and saving people would be amazing. I can't believe I am wanting a spinoff so I can watch Superman.
