It was strange, really. Being this close, knowing one so well, and yet, knowing nothing.
Her voice was slow, harkening in a way, carried with a homely, soft tone. Of all the gems you
had met in the abandoned kindergarten, Fluorite was the only one you truly felt safe with, the
only one you could truly trust, on all levels. You thought yourself a fool, looking forward and
seeing all the ways things could go wrong, and yet, trusting one path, a naive fantasy, over all of
those which disagree.
You wanted to see, just for one second, what it’s like to be a part of her, to be her.
