People in general are just fucking tired of politics altogether, no matter what their affiliation is, and comic book buyers are no exception.
And since the big companies are just doubling down the the identity politics, these people are voting with their wallets, by venturing outside of the standard distribution and supporting alternatives.
Surprise, these people who were actually buying comic books are willing to put up actual money for comics that are aimed at them, very much unlike the tumblr sjws who complain about lack of LBQ-what-the-fuck-it's-called-today representation but would never buy a single comic book.
