This really isnt totally a reboot-only thing though, I am aware of that, the show was trying to focus more of friendship and characters over fashion before the reboot but the reboot tried to completely run on it.
I loved the dark looks the original had and prefer them, but I was open to trying something different, and some stuff worked like long hair Draculaura, the party ghouls line, and I actually really like Cleos new face sculpt more than her old one, but we also got a whole lot of pic related which the poor franchise ends on, a lot of reboot MH dolls never even got released.
