>>102377929The thing about perfect perspective is that, if your own goal is to achieve that, go for it. But there is always some "give and take" when it comes to perfection in realism paintings. There are many famous pieces of art done by masters where the spine or neck is just a bit too long, but it doesn't take away from the picture, and that's the main part.
Is the perspective being fucked noticeable to the point where it takes away from the picture? No. Art isn't just about having raw technical skill but also about being appealing, and I would say this is an appealing painting. Again, if you want to do better than this, go for it, but I hate that people use these redlines as a way to say, "But if you don't do it like this, you're not very good because everyone should aspire to master status".
The 20th Fox logo constantly had fucked up perspective on the O until it was turned into a CG rendered logo, but the hand painted ones are way more charming than the modern day CG render.
