Largely the work is figuring out how everything should look and my pipeline for graphics. I'm learning IK rigging and stuff so that I can do the animation work myself as well as the graphics, and i'm working alongside a friend who's already making a mecha game to get things done that I can't do myself.
(IK is a fucking pain in the ass, I highly suggest not doing game development unless you're willing to put up with utter bullshit)
