>>102174417Not really. Superman is very op for a cape. But he is still limited by the plot or by whatever ideals the writer has. You can find ways to justify it by giving him exploitable weaknesses like kryptonita, magic and depletion of sunlight from his body or simply because you lack creativity.
Maybe the weebs are talking about Thought Robot Superman that is supposed to be a weapon used by good for good, which can grow stronger according to what the plot demands in order to score a win for the heroes.
And even then, you would still have other metas that can do similar things. Like that lovecraft inspired mech whose name I never remember. Or the Empty Hand which can pretty much decide if he participates in a plot or not.
Superman alone can be defeated pretty easily by a spellcaster that knows what is doing. A "Death" spell like the ones you find in Final Fantasy could one shot him... if the caster moves fast enough to use it in time.
