>>102025480At the end of the day, Cass legitimately wouldn't be terribly attractive. Not ugly, just plain. Enough to walk around relatively unnoticed. For the most part Cass regards her body in the same way she regards any other tool of hers: it should be practiced with and kept razor sharp for best use, and damage to it should be tolerated insofar as it doesn't inhibit effectiveness. She's not a creature of aesthetics.
>>102025539Cass' only hope in a straight fight with Laura is her nerve strikes, though I'm uncertain how effective she'd be at landing them in the first place, and what effect they'd have on a regenerating monstrosity like Laura. Cass is the better refined fighter, that much is true. She's all grace and practice and precision. Laura is comparatively more of a feral attack dog left off the chain: she brutalizes, counters, and moves straight for the jugular. Cass could try a rope-a-dope strategy of being purely reflexive, but that only lasts so long. At the end of the day, Cass relies on causing enough damage and pain that her opponent simply cannot press on, which is a disadvantage that Laura has mitigated. This would be a fight of endurance, and ultimately Laura could outlast Cassandra. Cass is human, purely human, which means she'll eventually tire as hour by hour wears on. She can splinter Laura's bones and crack her skull, but she'll stand up, heal, and keep fighting. That's what will give Laura the win. She's an endurance predator.
