I think DC should push her more since she's in DC Superhero Girls. She's a big part of that franchise. Little girls growing up with DCSHG are going to be sad when they learn she's only in team books. She's kinda become one of DC's prominent black female superhero after Vixen.

As an active power it didn't show up until the Young Justice cartoon.

In the comics, she originally got shrunk down in an accident that made Hawkgirl giant, took one of Alan Scott's eyes and gave some guy dying from Red Tornado stuck in his chest powers. She went to live with Doom Patrol for a bit, while waiting on a cure. As an active power, post-new52

She had it in the Teen Titans cartoon before that. In Young Justice it made more sense because she was a sidekick to the Atom.

I don't get it can she use her projectile sting beams without being shrunken? Every time she uses it she's small, which is great for mobility, but wouldn't the strength of her stings be more effective in her original size?
