>>101968170 (OP)>VenomIs hilarious but only works for the short time he was supposed to be his villain before being redeemed. Most attempts to bring him back as a villain end in mediocre shit.
>Ock Was only a bad guy because the tentacles bonded to his spine and he got blasted with radiation to fuck with his head. He's a great villain, one of Spidey's most fearsome foes what with his tentacles being a pretty solid counter to Spidey's agility and webbing, quite the criminal mind to boot. However, if I'm being frank, he should've been redeemed already. If not prior to the superior arc, then especially now that he has a non shit body and thus no radiation or tentacle bonding to screw with his head.
>Green goblin Again, has a similar situation to Venom. He's probably Spidey's most fearsome foe not just because of his powers but because of how mcuh he knows about him and what he's willign to do with that knowledge, unlike Venom, Goblin has no moral compass because he's nuts. They've had a long storied history, but every attempt to bring him back ends in shit and he's overstayed his welcome. He needs to die, but he's certainly in the hall of fame.
>Carnage Is another good one but he's only good as an event villain, you use him too much and you lose what makes him funny, most of his charm, his threat level, so not him.
Every other villain in Spidey's rogues gallery either doesn't have the brains, or lacks the pure threat level and power ceiling to really be too much trouble
I'd have to agree with
>>101968454Hobgoblin, he's a mastermind, as dangerous and as capable as Gobs, but with the mind of Ock, exceptional tailoring abilities making his suit impervious to most shit + the improved goblin formula with no madness. His prowess is shown in his debut, and in teh MC2 under DeFalco. He will also never be redeemed despite how great his axis mini was. He's all the good bits of most Spidey villains, but without the hubris.
