>>101872407The joke is that both ducks have basically every stereotypical flaw of their gender. Donald's greedy, spiteful, lazy, angry, cruel, and angry. Daisy is petty, jealous, manipulative, vain, coy, and angry. They have an awful, toxic relationship that works for them because that's the joke.
Donald gets more sympathy here because he's the protagonist most of the time, so we see him react to his awful luck and how people treat him, we know he has a heart under it all. Daisy is a LOT more bearable when she's allowed to be the protagonist a bit, and we see her softer side too.
