What are some /co/ characters that follow this mindset? I know the general anti-hero fits there, but I'm looking for something that veers into near-villain territory. More Ozymandias, less Red Hood, you catch my drift?

I'm not a superiorfag but you can't deny his methods are sometimes morally grey despite having good intentions. He's faced with making hard choices that aren't always obvious which is the better choice.

Has this mentality ever been presented in a way that rewards it? There's always an unforeseen consequence that makes it not worth it after the fact (which imo criticises bad planning more than the mentality itself)

Reed Richards has actually crossed that line, but also if we focus on his 616 portrayal he came pretty near it during civil war.

Hank Pym was on the same boat as Reed and Tony but i believe he turned out to be a skrull or something?

It wasn't completely good, but it was shown that Reed Richards actually got some pretty serious results as the Maker, so it depends on what you would consider a reward.
