>>101651264>"Batman planning a way to defeat Wonder Woman"I've never actually seen anyone defend the Batwank asspulls in Tower of Babel, but I suppose you probably haven't read the story in question. Here's the brilliant plan to defeat Wonder Woman taken from Batman: They, in mid-combat, shoot a tiny nanobot into her ear without her noticing that renders her unconscious and puts her in a simulated fight against an unbeatable supervillain that would eventually cause her to have a heart attack and die.
Now, even ignoring some of the other bullshit plans in the same story, you could write a thesis statement on the number of problems with this. For example:
-If the nanobot can affect brain functions accurately enough to render her unconscious, what is the point of the virtual reality fight? Why not just put her to sleep?
-If Batman has access to this kind of technology, why does he need a different plan for each member of the Justice League? Surely this would be equally effective against Superman, Green Lantern and the Flash?
-More importantly, if Batman has access to this technology, why does he still run around in a bat costume throwing boomerangs at people? Why is he saving this specifically to use against Wonder Woman rather than using it against every supervillain? Why is he even Batman and not Nanite Man? Why does every inmate at Arkham Asylum not have a similarly imperceptible brain-affecting nanite that renders them unconscious whenever they escape?
If for some reason you're set on backing a particular comic company rather than enjoying stories from each of them the way most people fortunate enough to not be struggling with autism would choose to, you really ought not to cite one of the absolute dumbest examples from the horse you're backing.
