It’s a comedy/slice of life/action comic about a very put upon guy who, to make ends meet, finds a part time job as an exorcist. He stumbles into this brave, new, secret world when he’s out late at night on a drive and some vampire chick decides to fuck with him, but surprise! He can see her.
In this setting, excorcism is sort of an underground affair, and only employed by people who really believe in it (Extreme bible thumpers, people who think they’re witches, weirdos, etc.) but exorcists only work with those guys because no one takes them seriously. Usually, they work with other people who are in “Limbo” (The plane of reality that ghosts live in, which is layered right on top of ours and invisible to people under normal circumstances) or full on angels or demons who need someone taken out or otherwise removed from the realm of the living.
So they’re essentially spirit hitmen/ ghost busters. Our protagonist is only eligible for the job because he happens to be able to see people attached to limbo. There’s no particular reason why.
At first our hero works the desks with the one vampire girl who recruited him, but something comes up and he needs an increased wage, so he gets into field work, which is far, far more dangerous, but you get payed a lot more for it. He is just barely passable as a solo guy and ends up having to have one of his superiors have to take over for him when things go awry. This guy happens to be a very accomplished exorcist with a flair for the dramatic (Think Dante from DMC). The two hit it off so well that he takes protagonist guy all the way under his wing, and from there, our guy starts getting higher quality jobs.
Also there are other excorcists the guy works with and protagonists new boss is demon Danny Devito but always sorta pissed and very Jewish
The only name I have for it is Part-Time Excorcist
