>>101432572I think it's weird that "Generational Cartoons" are associated with the cartoons that were popular during their generation and not the cartoons their generation made. I mean, I get why, but shows like Megas XLR, South Park, hell even Powerpuff Girls are just such a product of the entire Gen X mentality, versus the post-Flapjack era which similarly owes so much to Millennial youth culture. I'd argue we still have until around 2020 until Gen Z culture takes solid shape and distinguishes itself from Millennial youth culture.
