• Jimmy X is a far-rightist who has been visibly out there for weeks directing homophobes to pile on specific gay talents, and here are some specific examples
• Jane Y is a far leftist who has been mocking and making personal threats to individual Republicans by name, and here are some specific examples
Be the culprits poltards or SJW, if they are publicly harrassing people, then a potential employer has every right to do a background check, with easily available materials, and share it with colleagues.
Being blacklisted for demonstrable, traceable asshole behavior is like a softer version of a company not wanting to hire crooks. Even if trolling/bullying is not a crime, it has everything to do with why someone legitimately wouldn't want to hire you.
