Here is what I think happened. Korra was a mess of a show. It had a following but everyone knew it was not as good as avatar and people were point out the flaws. Bryke knew this so they decided to play a magic trick. Make Korra and Asami gay at the last second so that everyone who watched the show would now go back and rewatch it looking for "clues" that they were foreshadowing the Korrasmi and overlooking all the faults saying how brilliant it was in the end. Since subtext is just an anagram of buttsex, gay references aren't hard to find at all if you want to find them.

I'm bi and first heard of the show because of Klance and assumed since the ship is as big as the biggest fujoships like Destiel, Narusasu, Kirk/Spock, those dudes from Yuri on Ice, etc., despite being around for only two years or so, that they were either canonically gay or at least heavily hinted at it and I felt extremely lied to once I started watching the show, but it's a great show so I don't mind, but still to this day it baffles me how it got so big. Lance isn't attractive either which makes it even stranger to me.

This is the worst, most fabricated gay ship I've ever seen. There is fucking nothing going for it, not even interesting tension. Hell, there's no interesting romantic chemistry between any of the Voltron crew, the show could not be more weirdly scrubbed of sexual or romantic tension. The fact that Klance is the most popular ship on Tumblr and nearly beat out an actually developed, nearly canon gay ship like Victuuri in a fan poll shows how fucking cancerous Klancers are.

I can understand getting snappy with harassers. I'm talking people like the whole Thundercats fiasco. A lot of people showed their asses during that just so they could brown nose other people in the industry.

I've encountered some horrible and bitchy artists too. If an artist acts like an asshole to people who don't deserve it, they don't deserve commissions in my mind.

He eventually did become good and interesting though. It's important to remember that the staff have a complete view of the series and didn't write it with all these season splits in mind, so a lot of the shit they talk about isn't going to be specific to each batch release.

Pidge and Lance was playing the RPG they bought from Space Mall. They get to a scene where a character dies, and gets choked up about it (it has sentimental value since they played the game back when they were a little kid) only be to be shocked when the other reveals that you can save the character from dying.
