Also noticed as well that they conveniently ignored what the Terrigen Mist was to mutants.
I believe this comic comes out super cringey in part because it was supposed to have come out a year and a half ago, and by bringing it out now, it feels out of place because it brings back all the shit from IVX, when just about everyone just wants to forget about it because of how terrible it was; moreover, as you pointed out, it ignores why the mutants had a problem with the terrigen mist in the first place in order to push their intersectionality message, and while the message is not really bad, they hit you over it so much, you roll your eyes due to a concussion.
It's also kinda weird that this whole comic is about being a hero and a role model to others without having to be a superhero/have superpowers and yet the next thing is dazzler is a superhero in new Astonishing.
lastly, let's not forget that punk rock superhero was already done by Black Canary, and honestly? they did it better than this comic.
