>>100945578I can confirm this as well unfortunately. John R. Dilworth isn't involved this time around and it's going to have dual first releases on Boomerang and Cartoon Network, the series premiere is going to be sometime around January 2019.
I'm friends with Amber Rogers via Tumblr, she's a SU storyboard artist and has done a couple other things. She's going to be the showrunner this time around although I can't speak on the selection process or how she came forward, she hasn't given me this information due to an NDA.
