>>100943064>seriously believing that anyone here gives a shit about Big City GreensThat was your first mistake, Misha. Nobody's gonna want to talk about this show until we see those first two episodes on Friday. Why else do you think every BCG thread in the past has died after barely 20 replies?
I'm honestly worried about this show, though. There's been little to no hype leading up to its premiere (even less attention when compared to all the talk for Amphibia and The Owl House).
There's also the fact that Big City Greens's potential for success depends entirely on its quality as a simple, episodic cartoon comedy. There doesn't seem to be any promise of lore, magic, mysteries, sci-fi, or anything truly fictional/fantastical within its setting; just a SoL cartoon with a cutesy art style comprised of a literally colorful cast of characters. Clarence and Harvey Beaks failed to gain audiences, but Craig of the Creek has managed to do so. The thing is, that show also has its own advantages:
>Ben & Matt's names attached will surely draw in some SU fans>a black MC (and an overall diverse cast)>music from Jeff. Fucking. Rosenstock. TL;DR: Big City Greens better have a fucking stellar first impression with the premiere of its first two episodes if it wants a chance at getting more than two seasons.
