Ya know, I've accepted a lot of things from the current generation of animation. The easy to draw to CalArts designs, the shows making passive-aggressive remarks at older fans, the fact that action cartoons aren't the breadwinners of television anymore.
It's all a part of growing up. However, I will not accept that they are playing us for fools. 2003 Teen Titans ain't coming back, and I've made peace with that reality. Plus, what could they possibly gain from a season 6? TTG already makes them money hand over fist. Not to mention, if they were going to make a season 6, they would've done so years ago.

So CN, stop toying with me. Let me wear my rose-colored glasses without them being fogged by lies.

They have all the assets and the original voice cast, so they could actually do it if they wanted to.

The main issue is actually that because of all the years of Teen Titans Go, I feel some of them lost the original voice in contrast to the TTG comedy voice. Like Raven sounds completely different, her voice use to be all bass and raspy even when making a joke.

Though I come across this opinion at times, I've personally never had this reaction when rewatching the show. The chibi scenes do admittedly date the product somewhat, but once you re-acclimated to them the show is as charming as it ever was. I'm pretty sure some people were just extra edgy as kids and didn't pick up on all the silly fun and positive overtones. There's some drama and angst, and it goes a long way towards keeping the show interesting, but I think some people just really focused on that as kids and blocked out everything else. The show was always 50% screwball comedy.

I really don't fucking care and don't understand why people want more of this show. It had 5 seasons and a movie which is arguably a lot for a cartoon of that time, it had comics in the same universe, it has the regular TT comics and on top of that there's DCAU movies with the same characters except with the freedom to be more mature and more violent and there's Young Justice which is basically the same thing except for a slightly older audience. Oh, and I also actually find TTG funny while not considering it to be any sort of extension of TT. Remind me, why exactly should I care? I'm satiated with what we have.

I made a post in another thread explaining why I want another season. I want to see a continuation that is a little more serious and mature, but while still feeling like a part of the original series. Yeah there are the animated movies, but those aren't the same version of the characters. I think a lot of people would be interested in seeing the 2003 characters again, but a little closer in tone to the comics.

Like I said before: have it take place a couple years later,with some of the old characters being senior members, and Robin being Nightwing. And add a couple new characters.
