now Cloak has been in love with Dagger since their first appearance but Dagger would hook up with anyone and everyone while sabotaging any potential relationship Cloak may get into else until around Spider-Island as she's now settled for Cloak, after they swap powers and realize how dependent they are on each other.
another piece to their puzzle is that Cloak is a hardcore superhero if he ditched Dagger he could be an Avenger, while Dagger is always looking to get out of the hero business and start a normal life.
