And the entire Weirdmageddon was kind of a shitty finale, to be honest.
Bill himself is not a particularly good villain, the only compelling thing about him is the "getting crap past the radar" trope. And that's pretty shallow.
Bill's minions had even worse designs than him. They looked like TV-Y7 Deviantart rejects.
The plot didn't really make sense. Why did Bill "imprison" Mabel in paradise? He could've turned her into an earthworm or a newt so no one would've found her. Why set up this overly complicated set-up with the prison bubble and Gideon holding the key? Bill didn't even need Gideon at this point.
And why a paradise? Bill loves watching people suffer. Why would he grant Mabel happiness? It's not what he does.
