Jennika's doesn't have any romance going on and the kiss in the main story is really the only interesting scene in the whole thing.

The writing really went downhill after City at War. The comic should've ended at issue #100. The mutant town storyline has been pretty boring and full of Campbell's OCs and annoying mutant kids that I don't even give a shit about (and I thought the Foot orphans were bad). They need to trim all the fat and get rid of most of these useless characters.

Honestly at this point if it's not one of the four god siblings I can't really see Bebop and Rocksteady being in any real danger.

One thing I love about the IDW series is just how unashamed they are in their love for these two.
