>>116277150The post is the platonic ideal of tradLARP though. The essence of tradLARP is the LARP part. Nobody would ever use that word to describe a monk on Mount Athos or something.
It's a cargo-cultish imitation of 'self improvement' without any meaningful depth to it. It operates entirely in the realm of truisms and sound-bytes. The most famous example of this is the "clean your room, bucko" shit; normal people keep their living space clean as part of their daily life, not as some pathetic self-actualization ritual. But after that "work out" takes the cake as an uncontroversial panacea that people who have never worked out a day in their lives vomit all over the place. And then the retards who fall for it will do totally counterproductive stuff like performing a single exercise a bunch of times every day, since nobody was around to actually explain the amount of planning that needs to go into an effective workout routine (if you're looking to build muscle) and crucially important details like varying and ramping up. It's a vapid signalling act (a LARP) and always crops up in the most laughable places, as if someone who has their life together would be reading an Owl House thread on /co/
