>>113205063I've literally never seen a single thread like that anon. Considering it's a complete fantasy world with no real human connections I can't see why any of those type of people would care.
When a diversity character isn't forced or some bullshit last minute twist that can be easily edited out of other countries, people tend to actually like them. When they are made as good characters people tend to like them.
Look at America Chavez and Kamala Khan, both of them could be called a forced diversity, but there is a clear difference about them that makes people prefer one over the other.
America is a forced shittily written trainwreak that ends up being MORE offensive to the people it's trying to represent, it's horrible all around and none of it feels natural, so people don't like it.
Kamala on the other hand doesn't have that sort of hate, because her comic keeps who she is in mind, and address it. It's not something that is tacked on her for PC points, it's part of her character. But unlike America she still has actual CHARACTER outside of it, a character who people can like.
There isn't inherently anything wrong with being woke, it just ends up being shit 99% of the time because the people behind it cant resist using a soapbox to yell out their opinions as if they are the only facts
