>>97410785It's technically true. No weight means no friction. Assuming I had supes style powered space flight no faster than I can walk, *I* could pull planet earth, it would just be accelerating very, very slowly.
But with no friction to overcome, every sliver of force counts. When you jump you push the earth away from you as much as yourself away from it. Mutual gravity just pulls you both back to the same spot.
So even a tiny constant force, like powered flight equivalent to my walking ability pulling, could theoretically get the earth going just short of the speed of light after enough time, ion engine style.
Given supes has a HUGE force at his disposal, he can accelerate much faster, so this is completely doable.
The bigger question is how he got that planet to leasurely drag behind him instead of trying to orbit due to retained angular momentum transferred to tangential velocity, without killing their entire populace.
