My impression is that a standard tip is 15 %, rounded up to the next dollar. 15 % of 65 $ is 9.75 $, which gets rounded up to 10 $.

Honestly how much I tip is reflective of how I feel about the service. If you want more money then you're going to have to be really good at your Job. I've tipped 30 bucks for 10 dollar cab rides just because their cab story was good.

Another thing is it's degrading. You're literally a servant for however much they feel like paying you. It's 2.15 an hour for tipped workers by law. You don't make minimum wage with your tips you're fired. If anything the non cash tips work against you because you get paid at the end of the week or god forbid two week period and still have to claim all of it on their taxes. The best customers are the ones that order appetizers, order drinks, order desserts, and especially tip with cash. I know you fucks don't give a shit but some of us like to give back after making our way through college either flipping burgers without tips or servers customers for 2.15 an hour with tips. I did both and tip 20% every fucking time they don't literally steal from me. Wish I could tip the burger fuckers too because their life is harder.
