What if you came to Earth with the knowledge of heavenly bodies and how they moved more particular how to track their movements into the future. Knowing from a past cataclysm it was just too much of a drain on resources just to have these two heavenly bodies graze each other's atmospheres. How would you go about relocating the planet so to avoid future impacts without destroying all life there? Imagine if you will a spinning top,coasting in little rhythmic circles. Now imagine placing a small weight onto the side. The formula for the circling changes and the path of the top changes. If you knew just the right spots mathematically and put objects of enormous mass and gravitational impact do you think you could say maybe shift the planet a few hundred meters in a few thousand years? I think the secret to the pyramids was just their size. Also if the planet flooded and water dove to bowels of the pyramid and passed over the acknowledged pools of mercury then I would deduce they knew the flood was coming and they were going to capitalize on the event. If you pass water laden with microscopic particles of gold the gold will sink or fall into the mercury. You continue to add gold this way until the alloy won't absorb any more gold. Then you don a suit and a proper breather,add heat, burn off mercury, and that's a commonly used method of salvaging gold. It becomes more and more evident over time that everything we assumed to be a truth is either a lie or a childish stab in the dark. What if we were just reading too much into it? Maybe somebody along the line didn't want their planet to be destroyed, put some balancing weights on us, and make sure that the balancing weights would pay for themselves
