I was put off by the fact that my computer at the time barely met the stated minimum requirements (CPU and VRAM) when the game came out.

To be honest, I bought it at launch. Finished what was there to do (all the monsters) then it just became grinding and grinding and waiting for an event and I eventually got tired of it.

I want to play it, but only only on PC, not consoles. Also >>93460, I barely meet the minimum specs and prefer to play on recommended. Waiting for a summer sale when it's less than $10 and after I do some upgrades.

I do but nobody plays on xbone here. Still haven't gotten Iceborne yet because I won't be home for a few months but I'm thinking of just getting a new PC that can handle World and playing with mods.

I installed it and played it a bit. Given the size of the monsters I was disappointed there was no vertical gameplay like climbing the enemies, say in Dragon's Dogma or Shadow of the Colossus. Just felt like you aiming at a big hitbox instead of really feeling like battling enormous beasts with real presence. Reminded me of dragon fights in Skyrim. Also the loot-based system of upgrading weapons struck me as grindy.
