I got new slippers yesterday as my old ones the plastic sole cracked and if I went to check the mail when it was raining I'd have wet socks and nothing feels grosser than wet socks. The new slippers are more like a shoe with a real sole like a sneaker. The inside is lined with fur so they are very warm. I love acquiring comfy items.
