For the most part, dogs are nice and chill but they can snap and attack from one trigger.
not saying that every dog has triggers that'll make them snap but especially if you get a shelter dog they could have a number of things that make them go off.
different breeds do different amounts of damage, my old cocker spaniel poodle wouldn't fuck me up nearly as much as a pitbull would if they snapped.
