>>83963I'm watching 3 series this season. They're all continuations of decades-old franchises, so that should give you all the information you need on my opinion of the current anime industry.
>Lupin III: Part VNot that good. The show is far too serious, oftentimes outright boring, and introduces far too many characters that don't fit in with the franchise. It's like they took Lupin and the gang and plopped them into some wanna-be writer's generic social commentary show. Not recommended. Also, they only show nudity in the OP, not the show itself, which is rather queer.
>Mr. Tonegawa: Middle Management BluesI've been enjoying this show a lot! I find it very funny, and I like the kooky situations these very serious characters find themselves in. It's not much like the material it spun off from, but I think it stands very well in its own right.
>Late Night! The Genius BakabonThis show is OK, but relies too much on outside references and riding Osomatsu-san's coattails. Some of the vignettes have been very entertaining, but just as many fall on their face. I couldn't recommend this to anyone, but considering I've been keeping up with it all summer I obviously can't hate it that much, either.
