Other than that, I briefly kept in contact with a few people from /pol/ a few years ago, via IRC. Stopped using that board some time ago now, though.
4chan friendships happen rarely, cherish them when they come along. They usually happen when you pseudo-dox someone, like based on art they are drawing where you trace it back to their gallery of contact details elsewhere. Or someone in an IRC channel mentions they posted something specific in a thread.
