Those that came never learned the rules, and now they have a completely different idea of what 4chan is and what it's supposed to be. Lately with the staff expansion you've been seeing that in action as janitors and mods ban board traditions or just threads they don't like in general. They did that to /sp/ and must be pleased with the results because now they're trying to expand that philosophy to other boards.
