Piracy is much the same, you get to view the product and decide whether or not it's worth your money before investing. If you really think it's worth it then you can support the official release directly by buying a box set or something, then not only do you have a physical tangible product, but you're also supporting the creators directly (or at least the creators producers) as opposed to supporting some middleman who will pass some portion of the profit onto the creator.
Try before you buy, lad, don't buy before you try. That's cuck logic.
