um, probably 2014? It was right around when moot left. I came for /d/. I was just getting into my suppressed fetishes and didn't know where else to go. I've flattened out since then and actually go on /e/ way more than /d/.
Id go on /g/ a lot but i grew tired of it quickly and and just went straight to news sites for tech. (Now I go to a different board.) I started going to /v/ for e3 and then I replaced it with /vg/. since them most of the generals I went to have died and I've mostly switched to /v/ even though I don't really play any video games these days besides Kirby.
My home board now is probably /fa/. I started browsing it because someone from /vg/ seemed to fancy it. Yeah, you could say it's shit, but there's really nowhere else to go.
I'm very glad I found 4chan. It's my one stop shop for most of what I open my web browser for. On top of that, 4chab led me to post of the other sites I frequent (other boards, Japanese learning sites, Twitter, Pixiv). I've used so many guides from the boards here, too.
