Racism is illegal, I can't say "Obama will go back to his cotton field" without risking a fine if I can't argue it was a joke, but nobody bats an eye if a white person says "nigger" in a non-racist context. We don't have a "N-word".
It's not that bad, as long as you're not a retarded redneck or a slave driver (I do check my privilege of not being a fucking idiot). We have a presidential candidate who wants to ban "nigger music", so apparently the rules are rather lax. More than in Murrica with a social censorship for the n word.
