is there a way to renew a long expired pass if you still have access to the email and token?

perhaps not renew it but just transfer the time you have on an active pass over to the expired one?

i emailed mod-sensei about it but they said there's currently no way to renew or extend an expired pass, but i've heard conflicting reports from anons.

any info on this?
