every single one of the writers went to very painful deaths for their witness account of the resurrection of Christ
... well apart from John that is, but only cos he lived after they boiled him in oil - so they decided to exile him instead
but anyways for the next 300 years christians were constantly getting killed for their belief in Jesus - and yet the Church just kept growing, proving that what Jesus said (in the Bible) was true; that 'I will build my Church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it'
and there's loads of other prophecies in both the Old Testament and the New, which have either been fulfilled or are currently happening right now
like for instance, you know that Daniel predicted Alexander the Great - several hundred years before the fella was even born?

or did you know that around 600 years before crucifixion was even invented, both King David wrote about it in Psalm 22 and Isaiah talks of it in chapter 53
both of these are what's known as 'Messianic Prophecies' which we can prove haven't been retconned by later christians
(for one thing, the christians were getting killed all the time and didn't have the power to retcon anything)

but outside the bible we have a historian like Jospehus talking about the new religion of Christianity based on a man called Jesus and we can even stretch to Chinese records of the Sun being blotted out around 33Ad - y'know around the same time as the crucifixion when the sun was darkened?
but nooooooooooo - you haven't even dealt with the evidence have you, because you wanna suppress your God-given conscience that Jesus is the only way to have peace with God... and you really don't wanna submit to that, do ya?
i completely understand - i used to be the same - but you're basically killing yourself by cutting yourself off from the One who is Life
